John Wesley taught that salvation is deliverance from sin, both original and actual. In his doctrine of salvation, the concept of degrees is included, meaning a deliverance from different aspects of sin at different stages in the way of salvation. This lecture explores John Wesley’s doctrine of sin in relation to his views on discipleship and spells out the biblical basis for his doctrine of salvation involving degrees of deliverance from sin. The lecture includes PowerPoint slides and charts.
